Tunisia- [Audio]Abdelhamid Jelassi: No one requested compensation before July 25

 Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, former Ennahdha member Abdelhamis Jelassi announced that it is essential to distinguish between the victims of Ben Ali regime and the political parties, stipulating that the victims of the old Regime did not all possess a political affiliation.
He emphasised the necessity to notify citizens of the contents of the Forum’s report, remarking that no one asked for compensation to be paid until July 25.
The statements disseminated by the media relate solely to the establishment of regulatory texts linking to the creation of Al Karama fund, he added.
“I am not touched with the positions of the Enahdha Movement however I defend those who were crushed by the state under the Old Regime. The latter is entitled to payment”, he declared. He added that all attention should now be on tackling the pandemic.
