Tunisia-[Audio]Imed Ben Halima: Kais Saied is the biggest danger for Tunisia

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Attorney Imed Ben Halima declared that the liberation of Nabil Karoui will further increase Qalb Tounes’ support for Ennahdha Movement and prime minister Hichem Mechichi.

Remarking on the national dialogue initiative, Ben Halima reported that the leaders of the General Tunisian Labor Union (UGTT) were unhappy with the latest speeches by President Kais Saied, which only helped to worsen the crisis in the country. “Kais Saied states anything, anyhow. He does not have a clear vision, his ideas are not blended and he attacks all parties in these addresses. As a result, he cannot be the president of all Tunisians ”he stated.

Ben Halima added that Tunisia is facing a health and socio-economic crisis, nevertheless, the only priority for the Head of State is the change of the political regime. “Kais Saied’s behaviour is conflicting. On the one hand, he asks for the change of the political regime and on the other hand, he declines to promulgate the law on the Constitutional Court, “he said. He, accordingly, announced that Kais Saied constitutes the greatest danger for Tunisia.
