Tunisia-[Audio]Nabil Hajji- “Kais Saied must have the courage to admit it once and for all, this is a coup d’etat”

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Democratic Current MP Nabil Hajji stated that what occurred on July 25 was already a provisional government organization. However, the measures adopted yesterday can be understood as a halt of the 2014 constitution, he added.

The President of the Republic must have the courage to admit it once and for all, “this is a coup d’etat,” stated the politician. Kais Saied must acknowledge that he makes sure to rule alone and that he has the army and the people under command. He does not solicit the endorsement of politicians or experts in constitutional law. It’s just a staging to earn the sympathy of foreign public opinion so as not to run out of funding, he added.
