Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Secretary-General of the Chambre of transport, Wajih Zidi affirmed that he called for the accelerated appointment of a Director-General for Tunisair.
Mr Zaidi emphasised that the designated person to this post need to be competent, distant from political disputes and enriched with a vision of restructuring Tunisair and restore its beam.
He moreover explained that under an ancient contract with the Civil Aviation Bureau, Tunisair possesses the exclusive right to operate cargo handling tasks during export.
He pointed out that a privately possessed company, supported politically and working in the same field is attempting to grow its activities by removing the airline in charge.
The Chambre adheres to Tunisair’s legal right to the exclusive administration of shipping, warning of all stages of demonstration to defend the sustainability of the company.
