Tunisia-(Audio)Souab :Mahdi Ben Gharbia was taken to unknown destination

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, member Mahdi Ben Gharbia’s defence committee Ahmed Souab stressed that the committee is seeing an unprecedented relentlessness against Ben Gharbia, on the part of the investigators at ‘Al Aouina barracks.

He affirmed that they are looking for anything to charge his client as much money and time it takes. Mr Souab added that this case has become a matter of public order, given the means mobilized to attempt to plunge their client, while his adversaries in the initial affair, those who tried to extort him, with all the legal proofs required, are not at all worried.

He pointed out that as part of the harassment against his client, they followed him twice, today, to his house to carry out searches, and in the second time they accompanied him to an unknown location, while his defenders were notified that he would be brought back to Aouina.

Souab confirmed that so far investigators have not given anything that explains his continued detention. As a result, for them, their client remains illegally sequestered.
