Tunisia-Average annual cost per student in public sector exceeds 7,000 DT in 2022

According to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the average annual cost per student in the public sector rose from 6,168 dinars in 2018 to 7,536 dinars in 2022, a decline compared to 2021.

According to the same source, the number of students in the public and private sectors grew during the 2022-2023 academic year, reaching around 305,635 students, including 14.7% enrolled in the private sector.

The number of students in the public and private sectors was around 298,805 in 2021-2022.
