Tunisia – Bad weather: Floods in the Kasserine region

The delegation of Foussana, in the governorate of Kasserine, registered rainfall of between 40 and 50 mm. The torrents of rain in Oued Chebli, the locality of Afrane, in the Sahraoui zone, the delegation of Foussana, caused the flooding of several homes without causing human or material damage.

For his part, the First Delegate of the governorate of Kasserine confirmed that following the floods of Oued Chebli in Foussana and Oued El Barak in Laayoune, the regional committee, in coordination with the local committees, is in permanent session, while calling on locals to be careful given the climatic fluctuations.

As a reminder, several delegations of the State of Kasserine, such as the delegations of Sbiba, Foussana and Laayoune, have recorded significant rainfall in recent hours.
