Tunisia-Bakeries: Ministry of Commerce hits hard, 249 violations recorded in two days

The economic control teams under the Ministry of Commerce recorded, on July 30 and 31, 249 violations in the bakery sector.

The offences recorded were the result of control operations conducted in 1153 classified areas spread over 166 regions of the country.

The economic control teams seized 105 tons of subsidized flour, 1,558 tons of non-subsidized flour as well as 150 subsidized baguettes planned for animal feed.

Breaches identified include selling at illegal prices and non-compliance with subsidy regulations.
