Sadek Haboubi, treasurer of the National Chamber of Bakeries told Tunisie Numérique that a session was held at the headquarters of the Tunisian Federation of Industry, Commerce and Handicrafts, which led to the decision to carry a protest on October 18, 2022.
He clarified that the aim of this protest is to reclaim financial contributions from bakeries and reject the restrictions inflicted by the Ministry of Commerce on the owners of bakeries and assure that there will be no bread on the markets of the different regions of the Republic.
