Tunis Survey, a leading expert in online surveys and digital studies, has just issued the results of its political distance barometer.
Political distancing is described by Tunis Survey as ” A Membership that has yet to established or a choice that has yet to be determined regarding an existing political party. It makes it feasible to be determined following the degree of significance, proximity or the distance of citizens/voters that is correlated to parties in the Tunisian political scene “.
The barometer is based on various waves of self-administered online surveys. Six waves have been already conducted with the last being on June 04, 2020.
Answering the question “Which political party are you closest to?” 2/3 of the respondents (67%) revealed that they are not close to any political party. A trend that has proceeded since March 21, 2020.
It has become apparent that the electoral support of certain political parties is Melting like snow in the sun.
In politics, the game is never made and parties must enhance their efforts to win back voters who are increasingly distancing themselves from them.
