The Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) reported in a published press release that as of August 2, 2023, foreign currency assets covered 101 days of imports, with 23.110 billion TND.
The BCT added that the volume of banknotes and coins in circulation surpassed that of bank refinancing. On August 2, 2023, the first was at 20.475 billion TND and the second at 16.684 billion TND, adds the same source.
