Tunisia-Béja: Bakers threaten to shut down [Video]

The president of the regional chamber of bakeries of Béja, Sadok Habboubi confirmed to Tunisie Numéerique that the bakers presented a petition to the regional authorities menacing to shut down their bakeries by giving them an ultimatum of 15 days to negotiate with them.
 
Habboubi clarified that bakers are suffering from financial ordeals to the point that they are no longer able to pay the wages of their employees or meet a set of expenses. These expenses include employee salaries, electricity and gas bills, and the purchase of yeast.
