Tunisia- Abderraouf Jaziri : Rains helped fill the dams in the north with an increase of 4%.

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique,  regional delegate for agricultural development in Beja Abderraouf Jaziri addressed the rainfalls registered in recent days in the northwestern governorates.

He stated that the maximum amount of rain was 104 mm in 9 delegations under the governorate of Beja.  Gueboullat and Amdoun reported 104mm while  Medjez El Beb recorded 73mm.

”This precipitation will be profitable for farmers, especially as regards the start of the harvest season. The rains helped fill the dams in the north with an increase of 4%.

61 million m3 of water were registered in October 2020 as opposed to 86 million m3 during the month of October, “he revealed.
