The regional health directorate in Beja announced on July 4th,2021 157 infections from coronavirus out of 833 carried analysis, the infection toll has reached 11,278 of which 8438 have recovered.
In the period, the region reported 11 deaths, taking the death tally to 316 death at the start of the pandemic.
As of Friday 157 people has been hospitalized of which two are in the ICU unit.
