Tunisia-Belaïd and Brahmi defense committee is taking these parties to court

The member of the defence committee of the martyrs Chokri Belaïd and Mohamed Brahmi, Kouthair Bouallague stressed the involvement of the former prosecutor of the first instance court of Tunis Bechir Akremi in the case of political assassinations.

She clarified that several investigating judges who have taken charge of the political assassination file have disrupted the advancement of Belaïd and Brahmi case .

According to her, several tries were made to stop the defence committee from closely following the case . “We were incapable to seek justice,” she said. The speaker even said that the secret apparatus of Ennahdha is implicated in the case of political assassinations, indicating that 26 complaints have been filed against the leaders of the Islamist party.

“Only 10 people were prosecuted while the remaining 16 people, including Rached Ghannouchi, did not appear in court. We have hence decided to file a complaint against all the judges who have concealed evidence and disrupted the smooth running of this case,” he said.
