Tunisia – Belhassine: Crafts promote development of inland regions and reduce unemployment

The Minister of Tourism and Crafts, Mohamed Moez Belhassine, gave a speech on the occasion of the commemoration of the National Day of Crafts and Traditional Clothing, at the Congrès palace in Tunis, during which he hailed the efforts of Tunisian artisans to maintain Tunisian identity and tradition. He also welcomed all parties concerned by the development of the craft sector.

He confirmed that in addition to its cultural and historical role, the craft sector contributes to promoting economic development, especially in the interior regions, and exports, as well as the fight against unemployment, with the creation of projects creating employment positions.
