Tunisia-Bhiri: Next parliament is not legitimate and will operate according to Saied ‘s Constitution (Declaration)

Noureddine Bhiri, assessed that there is no separation between powers in the country, given that “the coup” led by the President of the Republic has struck the principle of separation.

In an interview granted, this Tuesday, February 7, 2023 to Tunisie Numérique, Bhiri clarified that the next parliament will work by referring to Saeed’s Constitution and which will have no role, neither in the management of national public affairs nor in the exercise of control over executive power.

“What is more dangerous in Tunisia is that the Parliament was not elected on the basis of the representation of all Tunisians…. This institution is not legitimate and will not be able to serve the state or manage The country’s public affairs … It will certainly be controlled by Saied, ”he assured.
