Osama Kheriji has just been introduced for the post of Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries during the reshuffle announced this Saturday, January 16, 2021, by prime minster Hichem Mechichi.
Kheriji held the same post in the government of former prime minsiterElyes Fakhfakh.
He was likewise the president of the Tunisian Order of Engineers (OIT), a post he has held since 2015 before being re-elected in 2019.
He has already been Director General of the INGC (National Institute of Field Crops) since 2013 and before that, Deputy Director at the Ministry of Agriculture between 2009 and 2013.
