Tunisia-Bizerte: 37 Algerians saved from drowning in Galite coast

Maritime National Guards under Bizerte marine area saved 37 Algerians in Galite coast from drowning, they were on board a boat on an irregular migration journey to Europe.

A security source told Shems FM that the group was directed toward the  Marine Guard area in Bizerte, where the Marine Guards Division undertook the matter.

Noting that Agents of the Maritime Guard from Galite Island, Bizerte Governorate, rescued 10 Algerians yesterday they were placed in the youth centre in the region and will undergo testing for COVID-19.

The same procedure will apply to the  37 people that were saved.
