The regional director of Civil Protection in Bizerte, Kamal Meliti revealed that the Civil Protection services in the governorate of Bizerte conducted almost 1,000 field interventions during July.
Field interventions, in particular road rescue, ranked first with 507 interventions, while the rest of the operations involved firefighting and beach rescue, he added.
The same source revived the call for local and regional associations and organizations to back these efforts through greater awareness among citizens of the significance of compliance with safety recommendations.
