Tunisia-Bizerte: fire breaks out in Mount Nadhour for 3rd time in less than 48 hours

Fire, on Sunday, broke out for the third time in 48 hours in Mount Nadhour, said local director of civil defence in Bizerte Kamel Melliti.

The official told TAP efforts have been made by civil defence and forest department teams and the rest of stakeholders to extinguish the fire.

The fire on Mount Nadhour destroyed more than 58 hectares of forest.

It broke out for the first time on Friday afternoon and was put out on Saturday morning. It broke out again on Saturday afternoon and was extinguished at night.
