Tunisia-Bizerte: ship carrying 23,000 tonnes of white sugar docks at commercial port

On Wednesday, December 27, 2023, the vessel “GOLDEN ID” docked at Bizerte commercial port, carrying a cargo of 23,000 tons of white sugar. The shipment is planned for both domestic and industrial consumption and was sourced from India, and supplied to the Tunisian Trade Office.

Governor Samir Abdellaoui of Bizerte confirmed that all docking procedures for the ship were safely conducted in the port basin. He further noted that the required logistical arrangements have been put in place to commence the unloading process jointly, starting from Thursday, December 28, 2023, as reported by tap.
