Tunisia-Bouziane death case: No visible trace of violence on his body

The Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of Tunis was notified, Wednesday, by the police of Sidi El Béchir in Tunis, of the demise of a person who was moved on January 14 to Habib Thameur hospital. After the preliminary examination, the deceased was “found unconscious” on January 14, in front of the Palais des Congrès in Tunis, before being transferred by civil protection agents to Habib Thameur hospital, reports the press.

 

The representative of the prosecution stated that “the body of the deceased bore no visible traces of violence”, adding that an investigation has been opened into this case, adds the same source.

It should be mentioned that several activists reported the death of the protester Ridha Bouziane arrested by the police during the demonstrations of January 14, 2022.
