Tunisia-Breaking news: Tunisia reports 4 new COVID-19 cases, 1168 in total

Ministry of Health announced on Saturday evening four new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of the infected in the country to 1,168.

According to the ministry statement, a total of 1,025 patients have recovered while 50 deaths were reported.

The ministry said in a statement, “Following a total of 242  lab tests,9 cases tested positive, of which 4 are new Imported infections and 6 previously confirmed cases who were still infected with this virus”.As such, the number of confirmed cases rose to 11,68 out of 68784 screening tests performed since the first cases were identified last March.

Also,93  patients are still virus-carriers and kept in observation.
