The Ministry of Health announced that as of August 29, 2020, 113 more coronavirus infections have been registered.
In its periodic bulletin on the epidemic situation in the country, the ministry indicated that out of a total of 2667 tests carried out, including 29 in the framework of the follow-up of former patients, 113 tests were positive. These include 89 domestic cases, 9 imported cases and 14 cases already carrying the virus, in addition, to 15 cases under inquiry.
Since the opening of borders on June 27, 2020, 2484 cases of coronavirus contaminations have been recorded, including 543 imported cases, 1917 local cases and 26 deaths.
53 patients are currently hospitalized, including 15 cases admitted to intensive care.
