Tunisia-Breaking news: 2166 coronavirus infections and 88 new deaths in 24 hours

Tunisia continues to record a high infection for the daily number of registered coronavirus cases in the country as the data released on Thursday by health ministry showed the total number of COVID-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic rose by 2166  to 177,231  on January 15.

Meanwhile, the number of deaths recorded increased by 88 to 5616  while recoveries stand at 127,854 after reporting 2219 recoveries.

1921 COVID-19 patients have been hospitalised of whom 379  are in ICU and 128 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
