Tunisia set a new record for the daily number of registered coronavirus cases in the country as the data released on Tuesday by health ministry showed the total number of COVID-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic by 2265 to 147,061 over the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the number of deaths recorded increased by 72 to 4934 while recoveries stand at 110,324 after reporting 1833 recoveries.
1616 COVID-19 patients have been hospitalised of whom 350 are in ICU and 112 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
