Tunisia-Breaking news: 2649 coronavirus infections and 56 new deaths in 24 hours

Tunisia has registered 2649  coronavirus infections and 56  new deaths from the virus on January 7, the health ministry reported on Friday night.

Consequently, the infection tally has reached 154,903 so far, against  5108 deaths. Meanwhile, recoveries grew by 1758 to 115,173.

1615  COVID-19 patients have been hospitalised of whom 344 are in ICU and 116  under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
