78 more confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 71 domestic were recorded from 947 tests carried out on August 16, the Health Ministry announced on Monday.
In its daily report on the epidemiological situation in the country, the Health Department reported a total of 78 positive tests, including 7 imported and 71 domestic.
The number of overall infection cases has therefore reached 2185 shared out as follows: 1362 recoveries, 56 deaths and 767 active cases, including 23 hospitalised and 8 in the intensive care unit.
