Tunisia-Breaking news: 826 more coronavirus infection cases and 6 more deaths in 24 hours

The Health Ministry published Thursday in its periodic bulletin that 3,988 tests carried on September 23, reported the contamination of 826 persons by COVID-19 (20.7%), taking the tally of confirmed cases to 13,305, which stands at 6.3% of the total number of tests conducted since last February (212,620).

According to the same source, 6 more deaths were also recorded, bringing the death toll to 180.

Additionally, 248 COVID-19 patients are currently hospitalised, 74 of whom are in intensive care and 26 under ventilators.

Active cases stand at 8,273.
