56 people died from coronavirus and 1403 additional cases of infection from 46 49 tests carried out were recorded on December 2, the Ministry of Health announced on Friday night.
This takes fatality numbers to 3415 and infections to 100,683 since the spread of the virus in the country.
In its periodic report on the epidemiological situation in the country, the ministry further said 906 cases of recovery were confirmed, bringing the number of people who recovered from coronavirus to 74,513.
Currently, the number of patients admitted to hospitals and private clinics have reached 1441 from a total of 4895 who have been treated in these health facilities.
309 COVID-19 patients have been admitted to intensive care units and 113 patients are put on ventilators, according to the same source.
