No coronavirus cases and virus-linked deaths have been recorded in Tunisia for the sixth day in a row, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday .
According to a Health Ministry press, out of 160 screening tests carried on June 8, just 1 previous infection cases have tested positive, thus reporting Zero cases of COVID-19.
Accordingly, the tally stands at 1087 confirmed infection cases out of 55579 conducted screening tests since the start of the outbreak.
The number of recoveries stands at 982, while 56 are still infected and are under monitoring.
Tunisia imposed a lockdown on March 22 as part of measures to stem the spread of the virus. But like many other states, it began easing the lockdown from May 4 as daily numbers have shown a downward trend.
