The presidency of the government announced that in accordance with a regular analysis carried by prime minister Hihcem Mechichi, the latter has tested positive for COVID-19, promoting the halt of all meeting previously programmed.
The PM will continue working from a distance in a way that does not impact ct the ordinary course of government work, taking into account all health precautions and adhering to preventive measures.
The government team will undergo testing to make sure they are safe from the virus. Mr Mechichi will also be tested beginning next week until it is confirmed that he is free of the Coronavirus and that his health is safe.
