Tunisia declared 10 new imported cases of COVID-19 on June 19, 2020, bringing the total number of infections to 1156, the Ministry of Health announced.
The ministry said in a statement, “Following a total of 605 lab tests,15 cases tested positive, of which 10 is Imported infections and 5 previously confirmed cases who were still infected with this virus”.As such, the number of confirmed cases rose to 1156, out of 65515 screening tests performed since the first cases were identified last March.
The number of recoveries rose to 1017 with 89 patients still virus-carriers and kept in observation. The death toll stands at 50.
