Tunisia-Breaking news: Tunisia records 2new coronavirus cases ,tally hits 1164

Tunisia announced two new imported cases of COVID-19 on June 25, 2020, bringing the total number of infections to 1164, the Ministry of Health announced.

The ministry said in a statement, “Following a total of 221 lab tests,8 cases tested positive, of which 2 are new Imported infections and 6 previously confirmed cases who were still infected with this virus”.As such, the number of confirmed cases rose to 1164, out of 68542 screening tests performed since the first cases were identified last March.

The number of recoveries stands at 1023 with 91 patients still virus-carriers and kept in observation. The death toll persists at 50.
