Tunisia announced 17 more cases of COVID-19 on May 27, 2020, taking the total number of infections to 1068 , the Ministry of Health said.
The ministry indicated in a statement, “Following a total of 838 lab tests, 19 cases tested positive, of which 17 were new imported cases and 2 were previously confirmed cases who were still infected with this virus.
The death toll from the coronavirus stands at 48 so far while recoveries grew to 938 .
Moreover, 82 are still active cases and under monitoring, while two are hospitalized.
