Tunisia announced 5 more cases of COVID-19 on May 29, 2020, taking the total number of infections to 1076 , the Ministry of Health said.
The ministry indicated in a statement, “Following a total of 791 lab tests, 11 cases tested positive, of which 5 were new imported cases and 6 were previously confirmed cases who were still infected with this virus.
The death toll from the coronavirus stands at 48 so far while recoveries grew to 950 .
Moreover, 78 are still active cases and under monitoring, while two are hospitalized
