Tunisia announced one more case of contamination with COVID-19 on May 21, 2020, taking the total number of infections to 1046, the Ministry of Health said.
The ministry indicated in a statement, “Following a total of 1585 lab tests, 18 cases tested positive, of which 1 was a new case and 17 were previously confirmed cases who were still infected with this virus.
The death toll from the coronavirus stands at 47 while recoveries climbed to 883.
Moreover, 116 are still active cases and under monitoring, while three are still hospitalized.
