Tunisia-Breaking news: Tunisia reports 11 new COVID-19 cases, 1199 in total

The Ministry of Health declared on Monday elven new imported cases of COVID-19 case on July 5, bringing the total number of the infected in the country to 1199.

The ministry said in a statement, “Following a total of 450  lab tests,19 cases tested positive, of which 11 are new Imported infections and 8 previously confirmed cases who were still infected with this virus”.As such, the number of confirmed cases rose to 1199  out of 73352 screening tests performed since the first cases were identified last March.

Additionally,100 patients are still virus-carriers and kept in observation while recoveries rose to 1049. The death toll stands at 50 since the beginning of the outbreak.
