13 more imported cases of infection with COVID-19 were recorded on July 14, bringing the overall cases of infection to 1319, the Health Ministry announced on Wednesday.
The ministry said in a statement, “Following a total of 791 lab tests,19 cases tested positive, of which 13 are new Imported infections and 6 previously confirmed cases who were still infected with this virus”.
As such, the number of confirmed cases rose to 1319 out of 80538 screening tests performed since the first cases were identified last March.
Additionally,178 patients are still virus-carriers and kept in observation while recoveries rose to 1091. The death toll stands at 50 since the beginning of the outbreak.
