Tunisia-Breaking news: Tunisia reports 609 new COVID cases, 21 deaths

21 more coronavirus fatalities and 609 infections from 4905 screening tests conducted on March 10 were reported, announced the Health Ministry on Thursday night.

The death toll consequently reached hit 8313 while the infection tally reached 239.977 cases, including 206,293  recoveries following the recovery of 574 further persons, according to the same source.

 

1,067 hospitalisations were recorded on the same date, including 266  in intensive care units and 94 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
