Tunisia-Breaking news: Tunisia reports zero cases of COVID-19

The Ministry of Health declared on Sunday, 10, 2020 no new cases of COVID-19 for the first time since the beginning of the outbreak, thus  Maintaining the infection toll in the country to 1032 while The death toll is stable at 45.

The ministry indicated in a statement, “ 10 cases tested positive of which all of them were previously confirmed cases”. The ministry also specified that 700 patients have recovered.

The statement said that 287 are still carrying the virus while 11 are hospitalized.

The ministry has also stated that laboratory tests are mainly carried out on people suspected of having contracted the virus and those who have had contact with confirmed cases.

The Ministry, therefore, urged citizens to fully respect the law and comply with the measures of isolation and general lockdown across all the regions, to stem the spread of the virus.
