Tunisia-Breaking news: Zero cases of COVID-19 in Tunisia for 3rd consecutive day

 Tunisia recorded on Tuesday no infection cases with COVID-19 for the 3rd consecutive day, therefore the infection stands at 1032 from overall 33,880 conducted screening tests.

The ministry said in a statement, “out of all 614 conducted screening tests, including 39 on previously infected cases, 11 previous cases have tested positive again and no new infection cases were reported on May 12”.

The death toll from the coronavirus in Tunisia is stable at 45  so far while recoveries rose to 740.

The ministry has also stated that laboratory tests are mainly carried out on people suspected of having contracted the virus and those who have had contact with confirmed cases.

The Ministry, therefore, urged citizens to fully respect the law and comply with the measures of isolation and general lockdown across all the regions, to stem the spread of the virus.
