Tunisia-Breaking news:Kairouan placed under targeted lockdown

In the face of the declining epidemiological situation from the rapid spread of COVID-19, the governorate of Kairouan will be placed under a targeted lockdown for a week starting tomorrow.

The lockdown measures include the following:

  • Curfew from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am
  • Suspension of prayers
  • Lifting chairs and tables in Coffe shops and restaurent
  • Halt of all cultural and sport activities
  • Closure of weekly markets, Moorish baths and sport halls
