Tunisia-Breaking news:Tunisia adds 1623 new COVID cases, 47 deaths

Tunisian health authorities unveiled on Friday that the number of people who tested positive for coronavirus in the country reached 256.931 after 1623 cases were detected on April 1.

During the same time, there have been 47 deaths attributed to the virus, which brought the death toll to 8.890.

1381 hospitalisations were recorded on the same date, including 336 in intensive care units and 109 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
