Tunisia – Call to strengthen the judicial system in Gafsa

Chawqi Zerouani, the head of the Gafsa regional bar, urged the Superior Council of the Judiciary and the Ministry of Justice to fulfil their prior commitments to enhance the judicial system in the region. He specifically stressed the need for support at the Court of Appeal and the Court of First Instance in Gafsa.

Zerouani highlighted the challenges faced by many departments due to the absence of several magistrates on sick leave, resulting in delays in processing litigants’ files.
