Tunisia-Carthage Airport:Attempt to smuggle 39,376 Ecstasy tablets thwarted

Security units positioned at Tunis-Carthage airport on Tuesday thwarted an attempt to smuggle 39,376 Ecstasy tablets, concealed inside the luggage of a passenger from a European country.
 
The suspect was on board a flight from Paris to Tunis. These tablets were hidden in candy packets. After consultation with the public prosecutor, the case was moved to the sub-directorate for the fight against narcotics, under the judicial police, Jawhara FM reported.
