Tunisia- Carthage Festival 56th edition : The program

The curtain has been unveiled for the Carthage Festival 56th edition program this Wednesday, July 6, during a press conference at the Baths of Antoninus in Carthage.

The Carthage Festival celebrates its big comeback this year under the new direction of Kamel Ferjani from July 14 to August 20. The steering committee of the Carthage International Festival has just disclosed the complete program for the 56th edition.

As for Arab singers, Nour Mhenna will be present on July 21, Ragheb Alama on July 23, Nassir Chamma on August 10 and Chirine Abd Wahab at the closing on August 20. Several Tunisian artists will partake this year in the Carthage Festival such as Hassen Doss (August 9), Saber Rebaï, Zied Gharsa (August 11) and rapper Balti on July 31.

Among the international stars, the Tunisian public will have an appointment with French singer Zaz on July 26 as well as the Ivorian reggae-man Alpha Blondy. The Tunisian and Arab alternative scene will furthermore be strongly present this year with Algerian group Gnawa Diffusion, the Tunisian group Gultrah Sound System, the Tunisian duo Selim and Nour Arjoun will take the stage with the Palestinian singer Faraj Suleiman.
