The Criminal Chamber specializing in financial corruption cases at the Tunis Court of Appeal has lowered the sentence inflicted on businessman Chafik Jarraya in the case of falsification of confiscated housing estate contracts.
Jarraya’s sentence was lowered from ten to five years in jail and employees of the municipality of La Marsa, also involved in the same case, was augmented to six and five years.
