Chaima Issa’s defence collective revealed that the leader of the National Salvation Front will appear, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, before the criminal chamber at the Permanent Military Tribunal of First Instance in Tunis.
In a press release published yesterday, the defence collective specified that Chaima Issa is accused of “insulting the person of the President of the Republic”, “inciting the military to disobedience” and “spreading rumours threatening public safety” on the background of comments given to a radio channel.
Chaima Issa, had already appeared on January 19 before the criminal affairs sub-directorate of the Ben Arous National Guard following statements given to a radio channel on December 22, 2022.
